How to use this tool
Choose Stopwatch, Timer or Alarm at the top. Each keeps running on its own, so you can switch between them while a timer counts down.
Stopwatch: press Start, then Lap for split times and Reset to clear. Timer: type the hours, minutes and seconds or pick a quick time, add a label, and press Start timer.
Alarm: choose the Alarm time and press Set alarm. The panel beside Timer and Alarm holds the Alarm sound, how long it Rings for, the Volume and Notify me; Keep screen on and Full screen are there in every mode.

Three clocks in one

Switch between Stopwatch, Timer and Alarm at the top. Each keeps its own state, so a timer keeps running while you use the stopwatch.
Type a time or pick 1, 5, 10 or 25 minutes. Give timers a label, run several at once, and choose from 16 sounds, how long timers and alarms ring, and how loud.
Set alarms for a time of day with a label. They ring every day at that time until you turn them off, and Snooze gives you 5 more minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Is the stopwatch accurate?
Yes. It reads the system clock rather than counting ticks, so a busy or background tab, a sleeping laptop or a reload cannot make it drift. The display updates many times a second while it is visible.
Will the timer ring if I switch tabs?
Yes, as long as this tab stays open. The page keeps checking the time from a background worker, and the sound is scheduled on the audio clock. Turn on Notify me to also get a notification when time is up in another tab.
Can I run more than one timer?
Yes. Up to twelve timers can run at once, each with its own label, and each can be paused, reset or restarted on its own.
What happens if I close or reload the page?
A running stopwatch, timer or alarm is saved in this browser and picks up where it was. A timer that ran out while the page was closed is shown as finished rather than ringing late.
How long does an alarm ring, and which sounds are there?
A timer rings for one minute and an alarm for five, unless you change Ring for, which goes from 10 seconds to Until I stop it and is remembered separately for timers and for alarms. There are 16 sounds, from a chime, bell and alarm clock bell to a music box, birdsong and a siren, and choosing one plays it so you can hear it first.
Why did no sound play?
Browsers only allow sound after you tap or click the page, so press Start or Set alarm yourself, check the volume here and on your device, and use Test sound to hear it. Phones in silent mode may mute it.
Can I link to a ready-made timer?
Yes. Add ?mode=timer&time=5m to the address to open a 5 minute timer, or ?mode=alarm&time=07:30 to set up a 7:30 alarm.
